Use of Radio Equepment while driving:
The laws the government have brought into place restricting the use of mobile phones while driving do not include or restrict in any way the use of CB Radios or the use any other kind of two-way radio while driving.
Provided you carryout your operating in a safe and responsible manner and do not put other road users or pedestrians in danger it can be a useful tool and a good opportunity to ‘get on the air’ and make some contacts and catch-up.
We encourage responsible and safe radio use while “mobile” and look forward to hearing you on the repeater more often.
